Graduate (Licensed and Bachelor) in Nursing by the State University of Rio Grande do Norte - UERN (2006), specialization in Urgency and Emergency by FCM / PB, Master and Doctorate in Psychobiology (Physiological Psychology) by the Department of Physiology of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN, Post-Doctorate in Neuroanatomy by UFRN. Researcher at the Laboratory of Experimental Neurology at UERN and collaborator at the Laboratory of Neurochemical Studies at UFRN. He has experience in the Human Anatomy and Neurosciences, with an emphasis on Functional Neuroanatomy, acting in research on the following themes: circuits of the base nuclei, dopaminergic neurons, plasticity and development of the nervous system. Adjunct Professor IV of the Medicine Course at UERN and Advisor at the Master and Doctorate level of the Postgraduate Programs in Health and Society (UERN), Multicentric in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SBBq / UERN) and Multicentric in Physiological Sciences (SBFis / UERN). Currently, he holds the position of Dean of Research and Graduate Studies at UERN.
