Brief info
Graduation in Pharmacy (1991-1994), Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2002-2003) from UEM, Doctorate in Pharmacology from UFPR (2008-2010) and Post-Doctorate in Cardiovascular Pharmacology from UFSC (2011). He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Coordinator of the Laboratory of Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Pharmacology at the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD). He is Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Health Sciences at UFGD, where he supervises several Master and Doctorate students. In addition, he is a Collaborating Professor in the Graduate Program in Pharmacology at UFPR, where he supervises PhD students. He was Research Coordinator at the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research - COPQ / PROPP / UFGD. He is a member of the Bank of Evaluators of the National Higher Education Evaluation System (Basis) of the National Institute of Studies (SINAES / INEP / MEC), being accredited as an Institutional and Undergraduate Course Evaluator. Effective member of the Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science (SBPC), Brazilian Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (SBFTE) and of the Pharmacology Cooperation Network of the Center-North-Northeast of Brazil. Currently, it maintains technical-scientific collaboration with researchers from several teaching / research institutions in the country, such as UFPR, UFSC, UFMG, UNIPAR, UEPG, UFMS, USP and with Universities outside Brazil, including the University of Antióquia (Colombia), University of Havana (Cuba), University of Sargodha (Pakistan), and Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA; France). He has experience with natural and herbal products, having filed several patent applications, and published books and dozens of articles on ethnopharmacology and cardiovascular pharmacology.
